This folio comes with the original Brown Pharmaceutical Co. Inc. Los Angeles packaging in which the folio was shipped, including the original shipping address label. Also included in the folio is the Charles White: Limited Edition insert, featuring “Love Letter II” [from Lithograph, 1977]. “Love Letter II” [from Lithograph, 1977] also appeared on the cover of the folio. The lithograph was a homage to Fannie Lou Hamer, the legendary born, raised and died Mississippi native who was such a Civil Rights activist and powerhouse. Fannie Lou Hamer passed away in mid March 1977, which may have prompted White to undertake the work.
