In 1968, many Americans were reeling from the murder of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, in April of that year. Charles White was one such American, devastated, angered and saddened by King's murder. In addition to titling one of his print folios "I Have a Dream", one of White's exhibitions, at Heritage Gallery took as its title the famous, legendary words from King's most famous speech. This is the small poster for the exhibition, that took place at Heritage Gallery, 718 N. La Cienega, Los Angeles, California, November 11 thru November 29, 1968.
The poster featured White's "Vision", though the image is uncredited and no image details are given.
