Around 1960 Charles White's Work (Young Worker) was reproduced as a postcard in Germany/East Germany. The subject of the postcard suggests that the postcard originated in East Germany, the country having a particulat attachment to the symbolism of the worker as heroic figure.

The back of the postcard simply stated Charles White (geb. 1918) Jungarbeiter Zeichnung (which translates to Charles White (born 1918) Young Worker  Drawing). Another German postcard, featuring Harvest Talk, was issued within the same time period.
